The DVD presents “Poruganie Patsifika”, a composition by Moscow composer Mikhail Chekalin, recorded in 2005.  

"is a creation by a Russian composer Mikhail Chekalin whose creative carrier can be traced back to the origines of many a radical and innovative trends in music as well as in such art forms as audio-visual performance as early as the 70s.

The film imagery is based on the paintings of well-known Moscow artists, the names which are well-established within the world-wide context as founders of Soviet unofficial art of late 60s – 80s of the 20th century. There are leaders of the famous “Twenty” (20 Moscow Artists at Malaya Gruzinskaya Street), first of all, the unfailing participant of whose annual exhibitions during the 80s M. Chekalin used to be.

There are also works of some artists from the previous period of late 60s – early 70s, leaders of the legendary “Bulldozer Exhibition”, “Lyanozovo Group” and some others, deemed cult figures for the 80s, without whom there couldn’t be any talk about the Art History of Russia of the 20th ‘s century last quarter nowadays. Those are the artists who used the complex vocabulary of the actual modern art talking to their contemporary, the vocavulaty banned and all but lost in the USSR since the 20s.

The film presents paintings-works by Alexander Kurkin, Anatoly Zverev, Alexander Kharitonov, Boris Sveshnikov, Vitaly Linitsky, Vitaly Skobelev, Vladimir Nemukhin, Vladimir Petrov-Gladky, Vladimir Pyatnitsky, Vladimir Yakovlev, Vladimir Yankilevsky, Vyacheslav Kalinin, Danil Zhirov, Dmitry Gordeyev, Dmitry Krasnopevtsev, Eugeny Kropivnitsky, Eugeny Polivanov, Konstantin Khudyakov, Nikolas Vetchtomov, Oskar Rabin, Serguej Blese, Serguej Sharov, Tamara Glytneva, Eduard Steinberg, Yury Mironov.
